Solutions Management Group is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) and Alan is a Certified Property Manager,
each awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management. Alan is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
SMGI is a boutique firm, and industry expert, specializing in the acquisition, management and
disposition of commercial and multi-family apartment assets in the western United States and emerging markets
worldwide. We succeed through an unparalleled focus in execution not limited by corporate culture, expertise, follow-up
or resources.
Solutions Management Group was named as a 2003 finalist by the Republican National Party
as "Small Business of the Year", a national award.

Alan graduated San Francisco
State University with a Masters in Industrial Psychology and Organizational Behavior (1981) and Bachelor degrees in Psychology
and Sociology (1979). He has been actively involved in both the sale and management of commercial, residential
and multi-family assets, through a variety of business cycles, representing property owners in California and throughout the
western United States.
Alan holds a variety of professional certifications, designations and memberships including:
Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Certified
Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS),
Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate
Realtor Institute (GRI), Resort & Second Property Specialist (RSPS) and Transnational Referral Certified (TRC).
As a recognized industry expert he has testified in over 300 matters involving audits, criminal proceedings, employee
sabotage, organized labor, partnership disputes, personal injury, property management standards, rent control arbitration
hearings and workplace violence. He has been named to "Who's Who" in International Real Estate"
on multiple occasions.

Alan is a partner in SMGI specializing in high performance assets, rehabilitation
and positioning of commercial, industrial and multi-family properties throughout the United States and emerging markets worldwide.
He was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2006. Alan is a multiple RE/MAX Platinum Club award winner representing
annual sales in the top 3% of agents worldwide.
The Professional
Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) has certified Alan as both a Master Scuba Diver and DiveMaster with advanced
training in search, rescue and underwater recovery operations. He has traveled extensively throughout
Europe, Russia and the Caribbean along with North and South America. He has participated in expeditions
both above and below the Arctic and Antarctic Circles and is an experienced backpacking and hiking enthusiast with
trips throughout Alaska, Mexico and the United States. He enjoys both Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.
